Symbol references

The Kinyarwanda term "indiba" means "foundation." It is the foundation upon which everything else is built.
I developed my concept of the foot as the human figure's foundation and support based on earlier logo iterations created by the creatives who worked on this identity.

I developed a creative approach to combine the text and the footprint into a single symbol that appeared fresh and contemporary but retained associations with earlier iterations of the brand.

This logo satisfies all the criteria for a good one: it is simple, versatile, memorable, and relevant.

NB: Its intentional that it was reverted to a right foot (as the first logo version) which is more active for most people
